Realty App for Brokers

The client wanted to create a platform for real estate agencies, brokers, and sales teams to view properties and submit various requests, such as Expression of Interest (EOI), fly-in requests, and site visit requests, on behalf of their customers. The main goal was to digitize unit booking and brokerage collection. To achieve this goal, the client required a hybrid platform that would reduce development time and increase productivity.

We developed the Agents app using React Native to meet client requirements. React Native was chosen for its rapid development capabilities, cost-effectiveness, native performance, community support, easy maintenance, and reusable components.

In addition, the app makes use of various technologies such as:

• DocuSign for customer verification during the reservation processes
• OCR for document reading when submitting requests
• Matterport for virtual property tours
• WebSocket to provide real-time updates on unit bookings without any disruptions
• Integrates Drupal and WordPress CRM plugins to centralize and manage property information from a single point on the website, enabling personalized marketing, streamlined service, and effective customer engagement
• Developed in a JavaScript environment, the app integrates Google Firebase for analytics, monitoring tools, real-time capabilities, and utilizes CodePush for instant updates, ensuring a seamless user experience

• Virtual Tour: Integrates Matterport links for 360-degree property tours. Enabling digital property visits within the app enhances user experience.
• Optical Character Recognition (OCR): The OCR tool, powered by Azure AI Vision, captures details from documents and prefills the data, reducing user time.
• Performance: Application performance was enhanced by handling APIs from multiple servers, reusing components, and linting the code to eliminate dead code.
• Over-The-Air Updates: The app integrates OTA updates, creating a JavaScript bundle of code changes and sending it directly to the app. Once received, the app installs the update upon the next restart, bypassing store reviews. This method is ideal for critical updates involving only JS code changes.
• Google Firebase: Using Google cloud services like Crashlytics, Dynamic Linking, and Realtime Database makes the app cost-efficient, scalable, and customizable on-the-fly.

• Enhanced Visual Appeal: The app features modern, aesthetically pleasing designs, as well as improved user experience, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.
• Cost Efficiency: React Native reduces development costs with a single codebase for multiple platforms, reusable components, and extensive third-party plugin support. This approach not only saves money but also delivers a consistent and seamless user experience.
• Improved Performance: Migrating to React Native's new architecture enables capabilities like concurrent rendering and Hermes integration, resulting in better optimizations and a superior native look and feel.
• Reduced Time and Resources: React Native simplifies UI development with its declarative programming model and hot reloading capabilities, allowing developers to see changes instantly as they code. It reduces the time and resources needed for UI development.
